I was sucked in by the film. Jet Li is kept in this under the floor cage where he’s treated like a dog. Not just any dog but a fighting dog. They make him into this guy that can barely communicate but is a fighting machine. I don’t think I can say fighting. It was more like killing machine.

The movie goes on and he meets this blind guy. Jet Li’s character ends up getting away from the bad guys and tries to make a new life where none of this violence is a part of it.

I guess for guys that really want something that’s nothing but action packed the whole time this could be a let down but I think the slower parts really made the movie that much more real.

This show made me literally laugh out loud for several minutes at a time. The authors of the show have managed to mesh randomness with storytelling in a very comedic way. Like the title suggests, each episode tells of an adventure of Finn the Human and Jake the Dog. Whether it be rescuing princesses from the grip of the Ice King, or searching for a cure to the Lumpy disease, their adventures are funny, but engaging at the same time.

I was also surprised by the maturity level of some of the content. There is nothing really bad, but it certainly exceeds the level of many other original Cartoon Network cartoons. It is the first quality cartoon I have seen in a while, and I really hope it succeeds. It is a lot better than a lot of the stuff cartoons have been putting out recently.
