The purpose of resume is to give something short and dense due to the short time to read it by the recruiter. The cover letter resume is not different from the CV. Meanwhile, CV is a longer version that consist more than two pages which compound more complex and detail synopsis. Here is include the summary of your academic background, education, research experience, publication documentation like journals or articles that you have written, and others.
